Seminar on development of relations between Iran and Georgia, on Sunday 12Jan 2014 in ‘IRIB conference hall’ with Iranian and Georgian officials and businessmen held. This conference introduced the capabilities of Iranian companies, some trade issues between the two countries was also discussed.
At the conference, ‘M. Kdryayy Zadeh’ deputy ambassador and economic dependence in Georgia, announced about 4 to 5 thousand Iranians stay and owned one thousand five hundred companies in the country, Georgia has announced the formation of the Union of Iranian merchants and said the union will hold elections soon.

He saying that Georgians infrastructure required in the agricultural sector are faced with a problem, So he asked the Iranians to participate in the field of agriculture in Georgia.
‘Ahmad Reza Arzjany’ consul in Batumi is also referred to grow 47% in trade relations with Georgia during the past nine months, the trade volume between the two countries due to the historical and cultural background of poor assessment and said the volume of commercial activity should be increase.
